Future Pharma Manufacturing

Webinars

Pharmaceutical manufacturing is fundamentally shifting from large batches and one-size-fits-all drugs to targeted medicine and high-value drugs like biologics. These highly specialized treatments focus on smaller patient populations and are produced in smaller volumes.

Pharmaceutical manufacturers demand high quality containers and unprecedented flexibility in manufacturing process to fill different packaging containers and/or drugs on the same line without major investment.

Ready-to-use (RTU) containers (vials, cartridges, prefillable syringes) are processed and sterilized by the packaging supplier and are ready for the filling process. This reduces the complexity and total cost of ownership (TCO) for the pharma companies. RTU containers in standardized packaging would allow pharma companies to fill multiple forms of packaging without the burden of changing over equipment.

Creating a universal standard for all RTU containers will offer highest flexibility and reduce the risk of supply for the pharma companies. In this webinar, SCHOTT will discuss their iQ™ platform to standardize the RTU containers packaging and their benefits for various stakeholders in the pharma industry.

This webinar is essential for every pharma company that is confronted with the challenge of filling small-batch (biotech) drugs in a flexible and efficient way.
