Patient recruitment and retention remain the two biggest challenges faced by pharmaceutical companies when conducting a clinical trial. For a patient, participation in a clinical trial can be stressful and burdensome, resulting in one in four patients dropping out of a clinical trial prior to completion. Sam is the Chief Operating Officer for World Courier and has responsibility for World Courier's global functions. He joined World Courier in 2013 as Vice President of Strategy. Previously, he was a partner in Oliver Wyman's Health and Life Sciences practice where he advised some of the world's leading pharmaceutical, healthcare and pharmaceutical services companies, including AmerisourceBergen. Sam holds an AB of Economics, cum laude, from Harvard College and is based in World Courier's global headquarters in London.

Graham has more than 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry working for Pfizer, Parexel and Healthcare at Home. He was also named as one of the most influential leaders in the pharmaceutical industry by PharmaVOICE 100 in 2014. Graham joined Healthcare at Home in 2005 to set up their trial division and led the management buy out to create MRN in 2006.
