When we talk about the Pharmaceutical, Medical and Clinical industry, the quality of researches and the outcomes, respectively, are the factors which define the progress as well as the success of these sectors. Meetings, conferences and other similar events are regularly being organized and carried out in order to tackle with an abundance of questions regarding the effects of Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and their relation to each of the fields mentioned above. One such global meeting, precisely the meeting of ACRES and all of the allies, took place just a few days ago on the 14th and 15th of June in Washington, DC, USA. During the two-day event, participants from all over the world covered plenty of relevant and currently significant topics on an individual and more widely-oriented level.

To begin with, all of the sites that were present at the meeting discussed the future of clinical research. Because the range of topics aimed to be spread to as many directions as possible, participants talked over other significances such as safety of patients and professional development of different institutions, private organizations and, of course, individuals.

Since clinical trials are perceived as the instrument which triggers the growth of a number of businesses connected with the Pharma or similar sectors, it is of a great importance to take into account all management and technological solutions that are available out there. For this reason, all of the involved sites also engaged in an in-depth discussion, considering the influence, impact and effect of such solutions on the ways in which trials are being conducted.

Another main focus of the meeting was dedicated to the global standardization of various clinical trial processes and regulations. This standardization is seen as not only essential but also a beneficial move which has the initial goal to unite the best practices within the industry itself.

Having substantial experience in such fields and practices, Maya Zlatanova, the Business Development and Training Director of Astra Nova ltd., was one of the invited experts to discuss the next strategic steps for achieving better understanding and compliance within the clinical research industry.

Interestingly enough, this is not the first time when Astra Nova Ltd. has contributed to ACRES initiatives and works. In this regard, Astra Nova has provided ACRES with its platform of online training materials. This helps distribute the message of global learning for global understanding and safety in a more reachable manner.

To sum up, Astra Nova Ltd. finds the ACRES mission as a natural progressive step which will enable them accomplish their mutual goal: Improving Life Sciences Globally!
