According to a 2017 report from Deloitte, biopharma R&D returns have declined to 3.2%, down from 10.1% in 2010. This decline in returns is driven by the combination of an increase in the cost to bring a drug to market (now estimated at nearly $2bn USD) and a decline in projected peak sales per asset. LabCorp’s PharmAcuity product suite is designed to help pharma companies reduce cycle times and lower costs, leading to an improvement in R&D productivity.
By attending this webinar, companies will gain insight into the benefits of using PharmAcuity, such as:
- Optimizing your clinical trial strategy, planning, and design before a given trial begins
- Enabling you to analyze and evaluate your clinical trial performance versus the rest of the pharma industry
- Identifying “known” and “new” high/low performing countries
- Setting ambitious but feasible targets for particular study milestones
- Increasing the percentage of the highest-performing sites via country selection
The proprietary, industry-leading clinical trial performance data in PharmAcuity includes over 10,000 past and ongoing trials. In addition, the data is truly global, with performance data from over 100 countries. The Metrics & Benchmarking application offers 14 key performance indicators (KPIs) and 16 filters, providing an unmatched level of depth, breadth, and customization.
Enrolment rate, time to activate a given percentage of sites, time to enrol a given percentage of patients, and proportion of non-low-high performing sites are just a few examples from all the KPIs that are currently available. Filter options include common search criteria such as therapeutic area, indication, and phase, as well as highly-detailed criteria such as biomarkers / driver mutations, line of therapy, country, and disease stage.
